Instrumental Analyses Laboratory
Chromatographic analysis
Chromatographic analyses are among the most commonly used research techniques in cases where complex mixtures need to be separated into individual components and quantified. Chromatography is widely employed in industrial quality control. Some of the applications include:
- Raw material analysis (identity checks of intermediate products, chemical impurity analysis)
- Finished product testing (product identity checks, impurity analysis)
- Purification of chemicals
The Instrumental Analyses Laboratory of the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation provides analytical and advisory services in the area of qualitative and quantitative analysis. For these purposes, we use mass spectrometry (QTOF MS) and liquid chromatography (HPLC, UHPLC), gas chromatography (GC), and supercritical CO2 fluid chromatography (SFC) with various detection techniques. The Instrumental Analyses Laboratory has a quality management system complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, and a manufacturing authorization for medicinal products in the scope of physical and chemical testing issued by Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate (No. 262/0584/21).
